Wrap

'Wrap' enables GMX stakers to easily convert assets like GMX, esGMX, and MP into their matching Key utility tokens: GMXkey, esGMXkey, and MPkey.

*If the total amount of GMX and esGMX in a GMX staking account is less than 1, for example 0.9, users cannot use the Wrap function.*

The 'Wrap' tap is located at the very left-hand side of the top as below.

When users connect their wallet, these page shows both a value of pre-wrapping and a value of post-wrapping. All GMXs, esGMX, and MPs held by the users are converted into an equal number of Key utility tokens.

Let's see a quick example. If a user has 90 GMX tokens, 10 esGMX tokens, and 30 MPs, after wrapping, they would receive 90 GMXkey tokens, 10 esGMXkey tokens, and 30 MPkey tokens. Those who wish to return to GMX can do so through the Buyback feature at Key Finance. Through this feature, users will repurchase the GMX staking account, allowing for a seamless return to the GMX platform. The cost of the buyback varies depending on the assets held in the account, with users paying different amounts for each asset.
